The Meteorological Department has predicted that there is a possibility of good rains in August. However, it has said that a low pressure or surface cyclonic trough is likely to form in the Bay of Bengal in the 3rd week of August. However, a trough is currently continuing. Due to its impact, there is a possibility of heavy rains in south and central Telangana. It explained that heavy rains occurred in several districts on Thursday evening and night.
ఆగస్ట్ లో మంచి వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉందని వాతావరణ శాఖ అంచనా వేసింది. అయితే ఆగస్ట్ 3 వారంలో బంగాళాఖాతంలో అల్పపీడనం గానీ ఉపరితల ఆవర్తన ద్రోణి ఏర్పడే అవకాశం ఉందని పేర్కొంది. అయితే ప్రస్తుతం ఒక ద్రోణి కొనసాగుతోందని.. దాని ప్రభావంతో దక్షిణ, మధ్య తెలంగాణలో భారీ వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశ ఉందని తెలిపింది. గురువారం సాయంత్రం, రాత్రి పలు జిల్లాల్లో భారీ వర్షాలు కురిసినట్లు వివరించింది.
